Moore plays a photographer who begins at the bottom and works her way to the top of her field. Greenleaf, an alcoholic photographer, teaches her the trade. Once she hits the big city, she takes up with Crenna, a newspaper reporter. She also meets Elsom, a rich widow who likes the young woman's work.
