Thankfully, the makers of this reasonably engaging action thriller had the sense to relegate Steven Seagal -- who made such an ass of himself in ON DEADLY GROUND and UNDER SIEGE 2 -- to a secondary role. The star is ageless, ever-reliable Kurt Russell, who plays high-powered American intelligence analyst David Grant. He's charged with rescuing the passengers of a hijacked 747 loaded with scenery-chewing terrorists and deadly nerve gas. Together with Special Forces Lt. Col.
