A creepy, effective thriller starring Farrow as Sarah, a recently blinded girl who goes to her Uncle George's (Bailey) mansion to convalesce. Unknown to Uncle George or Sarah, they splash a young, psychopathic man's boots with mud when driving past him on their way home. While Sarah is out horseback riding with her fiancee (Eshley), the strange young man sneaks into the house and murders Uncle George, his wife, their daughter, and the gardener.
