1950, Movie, NR, 65 mins

West Coast TV and country-and-western personality Cooley more or less plays himself here, stepping in to help an old friend save his dance hall by booking in swing bands and a small circus. The musical numbers are far and away the best things here, and they include: "Foolish Tears" (sung by Ginny Jackson), "Oblivious" (Hal Derwin), "Deep Freeze Dinah" (sung by Tex Cromer), "I Shook" (Les Anderson), and Chuy Reyes and his Orchestra performing "Rhumba Boogie." leave a comment
