Marisol is a girl who masquerades as a boy so she can become a bullfighter. She trains hard to impress her idol, Peralta. He is impressed with her skills and finds her work in small-town bullrings. When she sees Peralta with another woman she becomes outraged and the bullring manager
realizes she is a woman. He persuades her to dress in a gypsy costume. When Peralta sees her dance he takes her up on his horse to ride with him in a parade through the streets.
