Highly fictionalized, dull biography of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, focusing on his relationship with Beghi and Bangni (sisters in real life), one of whom he loves, the other of whom he marries. A thick layering of misinformation about the great composer's life and loves, the film is
saccharine-sweet and ultimately lifeless. The music is Mozart's, and that is wonderful.
