Singer Breen made a series of films for RKO and this is the last of them. He is a South American motorcycle-taxi driver guiding gringo tourist Taylor. After fixing Taylor up with Senorita Shelton, he gets him into trouble by buying the dried leaves of mate plant in Taylor's name. Happy
end has Taylor making a fortune in the export of the leaves and winning Shelton. Breen sings a number of tunes, "Tra-LaLa," "Rhythm of the Rio," and "Ay, Ay, Ay" among them.
