Coogan is a Soviet agent in pursuit of Americans Knox and Stokey. The American duo meets nightclub singer Merrick, who helps them get to safety in Copenhagen. Coogan follows them, but finds he rather likes the freedoms of the West and decides to remain, inciting the wrath of his superior
(former Bowery Boy Dell). It leads to a semi-thrilling climax in this middle-budgeted espionage adventure. The story's not bad, but the film is clearly hampered by the budget.
