Escape From Fort Bravo

Holden's first movie at MGM features him as a captain in the Union Army who watches over a stockade in Arizona filled with Confederate rebels. He brings escaped prisoner Lupton back to the prison with a noose around his neck to show any of the others that the same fate awaits them if they dare attempt to flee. His commanding officer, Reid, takes Holden to task, and his compatriots will have nothing to do with him as a result of his cruelty.
