Viennese romantic comedy has Wesseley as a young girl who tries to find some way to support herself and her aged mother. She meets art dealer Tressler, who agrees to help her financially, and though the girl believes he wants something in return, his motives are strictly charitable. It is
just as well because at his house she meets Diehl, an ex-officer working as tutor to Tressler's two sons. A lot of predictable confusion reigns until the art dealer's wife, von Wagner, sorts it all out. Competent, but indistinguishable from most other films set in old Vienna. (In German; English
