Enigma

Alex Holbeck (Sheen), an East German defector who works for Radio Free Europe, is recruited by the CIA to return to East Berlin to steal a coded microprocessor that will make it possible to prevent the KGB from assassinating five dissidents living in the West. Once behind the Iron Curtain, Holbeck looks up Karen (Fossey), his old girl friend, and enlists her help. Distrustful of each other, the East German and Soviet intelligence organizations compete for the honor of nabbing Holbeck, and Dimitri Vasilkov (Neill), a rising young KGB agent, tries to make a name for himself by being the one to bring him in.
