Palmer is a widow who moonlights as a jewel thief on the Riviera. All goes well until she meets and falls in love with Thompson and goes straight. Routine script redeemed by Palmer's performance. Hans-Martin Majewski, who wrote the music for the film, wrote operettas and cabaret tunes
after WW II and became one of the busiest musicians on the German film scene. His operetta and cabaret work undoubtedly lay behind the unusual musical ideas and instrumentation for which he is known.
