Baxter, an American writer in London, is prodded by mistress Shelley to rob her husband, a fence for stolen jewelry. The robbery is successful but the victim is later found dead and a blackmailer threatens Baxter. He decides to turn himself in to the police, then learns that the whole thing has been a plot between Shelley and Mayne, the victim's partner. This is an unbelievable crime drama with another of those American-actor leads British B movies seem so fond of. leave a comment
Narrated by Ted Danson and based on the book by Charles Clover, THE END OF THE LINE explores the devastating effect that overfishing is having on fish stocks and the health of our oceans. Scientists predict that if we continue fishing at the current rate, the planet will completely run out of fish by 2048.
