Daniel is a rich Argentine girl who leads a sheltered existence on her father's estate until she is raped by her father's best friend. The plot, however, is just an excuse for an analysis of class structure and politics in 1920s Argentina. An excellent film, for which Daniel won a best actress award at the Cannes Film Festival. leave a comment
