Enchanted April: Review

Four women, Harding, Alexander, Ralph, and Baxter, take an Italian villa for a vacation from their various romantic troubles. Assorted husbands and lovers turn up in this mishmash of comedy and melodrama. The whole thing flopped completely and helped put the final skids on the career of Ann Harding, whose public was becoming tired of her typecast slot as the noble lady always making tear-jerking sacrifices. leave a comment
