Marie Dressler stars as Emma, who is hired by Jean Hersholt as a nanny for his large family. Over the next 20 years she becomes an integral part of the household, finally marrying him. Hersholt dies and leaves his fortune to his wife, but the children, including Myrna Loy, try to break
