While driving a killer from the murder scene, Clark runs over Brooks. Detective Ford is sure of Clark's guilt but is unable to prove it, so he forces him to care for the girl, who will die soon from a blood clot caused by the accident. Clark falls in love with her and begins blackmailing the killer in the getaway car for the money to care for her. The tearjerker climax has him marrying Brooks, who promptly dies. Sentimental, but not too bad. leave a comment
