Your Veronica Mars Questions Answered!

Kristen Bell, Veronica Mars

The mysteries are piling up on UPN's Veronica Mars (Wednesdays at 9 pm/ET; moves to Tuesdays on April 11), and fans want to know: What was Kendall up to in that shower? Will Logan's lost love, Hannah, return to Neptune? And what will next season be about? In an exclusive Q&A, Mars creator Rob Thomas addresses these and many other burning questions submitted by TVGuide.com readers. Question: Maybe you can clear something up for us fans. Was Kendall planting or removing something from the shower [in last week's episode, "The Rapes of Graff"]? And was that Duncan's or Logan's shower? — MargaretRob Thomas: Duncan's shower. (We tried to make that clear with the photos of Duncan and Veronica at the beginning of the shot, but they did go by rather quickl read more

24All right, Fox, I've got a couple of bones to pick with you. First of all, you've completely spoiled me rotten with this four-hour premiere in just two nights — how am I supposed to cope for a whole week without another episode? And like it's not enough that you've totally got me wrapped around your finger, then you have to go and rub it in by showing Golden Globes press-room footage during the commercials, while I'm TiVoing it to watch 24 "live." Look, we spoiler-free freaks here on the West Coast have a hard enough time maintaining media blackouts with the time delay — you're gonna have to help us out a little. You won already; I'm watching your network. I've seen the Idol and Bones promos approximately 300 times in between all the Kiefer-based butt read more

The Bachelor: Paris At first I...

The Bachelor: ParisAt first I wasn't so keen on ABC's rebroadcast of the premiere episode with never-before-seen footage. How manipulative of them to strong-arm viewers into catching a repeat! I was pleasantly surprised, however, by this new and improved version. It helped me catch my breath and settle into the show by getting a second look at now-familiar faces with some added insight to my first impressions. Plus it gave viewers more footage with which to mock Allie G., this season's desperate suitor. I loved that, behind closed doors, Travis' confessional reactions mirrored my own. His unbridled giggles at Allie G.'s use of the word "reproduction" was priceless. I mean really, "Who says that?!" Who, indeed. And who goes on a dating s read more

A Fanfare for Peter Jennings remembered by family, colleagues and his favorite musicians.

Peter Jennings

During the 41 years Ted Koppel and Peter Jennings worked together at ABC News, Koppel knew where each one stood in the universe. "He was known as the handsome one, and I was known as the smart one," Koppel said at a memorial service for Jennings held Tuesday at Carnegie Hall. "Over the course of the decades he was still known as the handsome one, and also as being very, very smart. I still was known as being the smart one." Viewers knew Jennings as the confident, sophisticated and authoritative anchor of ABC World News Tonight. But at the service to celebrate his life — which ended Aug. 7 after a battle with lung cancer — he was most remembered as a devoted father who truly cared about the human condition. Koppel recalled walking with Jennings in Manhattan's Upper West Side and being stopped by a homeless man who asked for money. "Peter stayed and talked to the man for about 10 minutes," he said. "He asked about his life and he listened." For year read more

CASTING ABOUT

She's no Willow Rosenberg, but she'll do: Mariel Hemingway is suiting up to play a Sapphic Secret Service agent in gay-cabler Here!'s upcoming telepic, Her Line of Fire, says Variety. Hemingway previously proved what a good lesbian she'd make in Personal Best ,and proved what a good thespian she is by acting like she was attracted to Roseanne on Roseanne.... Also per Variety: Clive Owen will join Cate Blanchett and Geoffrey Rush in a sequel to Elizabeth called The Golden Age. In the film (which had been titled Elizabeth 2: Electric Boogaloo), the Closer heartthrob will play Sir Walter Raleigh, which is almost enough to make me wish I'd stayed awake during more history classes. Or even the first Elizabeth.... Sam Shepard is strapping on a holster to play read more

Who else is waiting for someone...

Who else is waiting for someone to come on the screen at the end of this whole show and go, "Gotcha! You've been Punk'd." I'd be so happy if they did that, because then at least I'd know they didn't really want us to take it seriously. Sure, every promo is about how it's real lawyers, real cases and real people. But then they go and try two cases where the most important words are "eat me" and "dominatrix." You have got to be kidding me! This has to be a joke. I couldn't stop laughing when the judge in the dominatrix case asked about G-strings, pasties and diapers and then proceeded to say he had no experience in this area. Still, I was thankful for him and the nutty judge in the poster case. They at least showed some personality. Well, I guess Olivier did too, but he just showed that he's an idiot and a bit of a pig — two qualities that really do wonders for the reputations of all those in the legal profession. I wasn't surprised that Anika got nixed, since she to read more
