Eliza Fraser: Review

Ferrier and York are shipwrecked along the Australian coast, captured by aborigines, and held for some time before being rescued. Based on a true incident (the real Eliza Fraser supported herself for years luridly embroidering her tale before crowds at county fairs), the film plays it for laughs and succeeds very well. The entire cast is excellent, with Ferrier outstanding. leave a comment
