Exciting modern-day western actioner directed by Don Siegel sees Wilde as a brave sheriff's deputy out to solve the murder of a gold-mine executive who discovered his gold was being stolen and sold in Mexico for $50 an ounce, instead of the $35 it would net in the US When the culprit, Shaughnessy, discovers that Wilde is on his trail, he grabs Shaw as a hostage and drives off in a brand-new Thunderbird, headed for the Grand Canyon. The climax sees Wilde and Shaughnessy shooting it out in the yellow tram cars that span the magnificent canyon.
