Chandler stars as the chief engineer of a tin-mining firm working the Island of Tunga. The company is owned by Sutton who is engaged to Chandler's ex-girlfriend, Maxwell. Chandler finds himself in hot water when his boss ignores his requests for food and instead sends more mining supplies. This development does not please the ruler of the island, Quinn, who was promised the food in return for mining rights. Finding Chandler's slowness intolerable, Sutton arrives on the island with Maxwell in tow and demands that his chief engineer proceed with the mining, natives be damned. Sutton stirs up more trouble when he tries to get on Quinn's good side by accusing Chandler of romancing the ruler's fiancee, Ball. This sends Quinn into a frenzy, and he destroys the mining crew's plane and supplies. Ball attempts to help the white folks off the island, but they are trapped by Quinn's warriors. Chandler is forced into a fight with Quinn and kills the ruler. Ball takes over the island and allows the crew to leave. Chandler and Maxwell are reunited, leaving Sutton to himself. Good cast and fast-paced direction by Boetticher. leave a comment
