Freelance photographer Thompson goes on assignment in Africa, where an epidemic has hit the cattle in the region near Mount Kilimanjaro. He falls in love with Andre, a member of a scientific task force sent to control the epidemic. The scientists convince the Masai people that their cattle must be inoculated, and big game hunter Kris Aschan is hired to catch other African wildlife.
