A remake of the 1957 Roger Corman film of the same title, updated with lots of blood and nudity. The story concerns aliens coming to Earth to collect blood because nuclear wars on their planet have led to high radioactivity that is destroying blood cells. A nurse (played by former porno
star Traci Lords) discovers the plot and, with the help of her cop boyfriend (Roger Lodge), attempts to end the mayhem wrought by the aliens. Filled with camp humor that's usually wide of the mark, unimpressive special effects, and a tired plot, NOT OF THIS EARTH is one to avoid.
