Good early Hopalong Cassidy oater, in which Boyd is a kindly sheriff who promises the aging outlaw who saved his life that he will try to find the outlaw's grandson. The townsfolk are outraged at the news and throw Boyd out of office. Boyd rides off in search of the grandson, who has been kidnaped by the villainous Richards. At the climax, Boyd and Richards struggle on a clifftop while the boys from Bar 20 ride to the rescue. Well-paced and well-directed. leave a comment
