A spectacular, oversexed horse opera, full of steamy sensualism and a storyline that could only have snaked out of Hollywood. After dear old Dad is hanged for the murders of Mom and her lover, Jennifer Jones is sent to live with Lionel Barrymore, Lilian Gish and their two sons: gentlemanly Joseph Cotton and randy bully Gregory Peck.
