A script adapted from a play that closed after one night on Broadway--and for good reason if this film is any indication. The all-black cast, most of limited talent, can't go anywhere with this story of a preacher, Smith, and a voodoo princess, Bowman, who team up to fight a common enemy,
McKenney. The villain is finally taken care of when he is struck by lightning after he abducts the preacher's daughter from a church. Shoddy production values, from sets to lighting, are evidence of the little time and money put into this film.
