A wealthy man is framed as the drunk driver responsible for hitting a construction worker. To clear his name, he pays a woman $5,000 to marry him (she needs the money for an operation to save her father) and claims he was getting married at the time the worker was hit by the car. Hatton, a newspaper reporter, finds a witness to the accident and the wealthy man's alibi holds up. Not worth the bother today. leave a comment
