A sloppy remake of a well-received French film of the same title. Even the same director can't help this film--about a Russian singer and her double--sustain an iota of interest. This was Rolf's American film debut, but her presence and singing "My Heart Is A Violin" and "My One Big
Moment" (Lew Pollack, Paul Webster) doesn't make it any easier to sit through.
