Drei Gegen Drei

This dumb comedy stars the popular German pop group Trio (their big hit of some years ago was "Da, Da, Da"). The three members of the group--Stephan Remmler, Gert Krawinkel, and Peter Behrens--all play double roles, first as themselves, then as a triad of South American generals who decide to drop out of sight and live off their ill-gotten gains by assassinating their doppelgangers and passing them off as themselves. Stupidity abounds as identities are confused, and the whole thing comes off like a feature-length "Three Stooges" film.
