The only redeeming feature of this low-budget experimental film is that the music for one segment was done by John Cage. DREAMS was shot on 16mm, then blown up to 35, and shot, mainly in a Manhattan loft, on a total budget of $25,000. It is broken into segments concerning the dreams of a psychiatrist's patients. Most segments are abstract, and many have their erotic and humorous moments. Everything the film tries was done better in earlier experimental films. leave a comment
