Carson plays a radio talent scout looking for the next big sensation. He takes girl-next-door type Day and transforms her into a major star. That's about it for plot in this Technicolor remake of the 1934 Dick Powell film TWENTY MILLION SWEETHEARTS. Though competently made and well-acted,
