Dracula's Widow

DRACULA'S WIDOW, the feature film debut of director Christopher Coppola (nephew of Francis Ford Coppola), is an ambitious but disappointing rehash of the Dracula myth. Kristel, the widow of the notorious count, is accidentally shipped from Romania to a Hollywood wax museum. She goes on a killing spree, and world-weary veteran cop Sommer is given the task of tracking down the murderer. Coppola attempts a modern-day film noir, with Sommer's monotone voice introducing the mystery over a montage of flashing neon lights and rain-soaked streets.
