Dr. Kildare's Strange Case

1940, Movie, NR, 76 mins

One of the most successful films in the series has Ayres accepting an offer to head a research institute and then getting the chance to cure a mental patient by such techniques as inducing insulin shock and brain surgery. A couple of brief brain surgery sequences graphically show the exposed gray matter, no doubt adding to the public's interest in getting a rare look at medical practices and procedures. leave a comment
