Carey plays a doctor who's so swell that he saves a chorus girl from leaping off a building in a publicity stunt. He then gets tangled up in the murder of a killer he befriends. The killer asks him to deliver $100,000 to a long-lost daughter, but, before the doctor can do so, the mob intervenes, kills the killer, and steals the key to his safe deposit box.
