A highly influential and extremely well-done look behind the glamorous facade of international ski racing that's worth watching even if the closest you've ever gotten to a ski slope is ESPN. Documentary in style, the film stars Robert Redford — who did much of his own skiing — as a self-centered, success-hungry skier from Colorado who is summoned to Europe when a member of the U.S. team is injured.
