Carradine is a flamboyant Hollywood director visiting the Ozarks to find a mule for a hillbilly movie. Complications arise when it is discovered that the mule is being used for experiments at an agricultural school. A routine B-comedy with some smart dialog to help carry it off. The
producers flooded Missouri theaters in simultaneous openings for the film, but it turned out to be a major disappointment for PRC.
