Allen and his partner, Pickens, prevent an eight-year-old girl, Nugent, from being put into an orphanage after her acrobat father, Moore, is killed in a fall. They find that Moore had discovered that his partner, Lord, was part of a diamond smuggling ring, and she caused his fall to get
