One of Buster Keaton's first talkies, DOUGH BOYS is also the best sound comedy he would do. In it he plays a wealthy man who accidentally signs up for the army while searching for a new chauffeur. When he comes back from the war, Keaton puts all his buddies on his board of directors and makes their hard-driving sergeant the porter. Reportedly, Keaton drew on his own war experiences as a basis for this hilarious film. leave a comment
