Serviceable melodrama has Denning as a struggling petroleum engineer who accepts a job from Young to bring in a well. When Young is killed, Windsor inherits the well, despite the opposition of Young's sister, Baker. Denning continues to work on the well and the murderer is eventually revealed as Holmes, thought to be a simple drunk up to that point. This low-budget programmer was made by Bel-Air productions on the condition that RKO buy the picture on completion. leave a comment
