O'Connor is an apprentice shopkeeper in colonial Charlestown, a notorious pirate hideout. Through a series of accidents and cases of mistaken identity, he finds himself in command of a pirate brigantine and much feared. Most of his attention is taken by his attempts to free Carter, the
governor's ward, from an arranged marriage. Decent musical comedy mostly carried by O'Connor's good-naturedness. Songs include: "Percy Had a Heart" and "Song of Adventure."
