A standard comedy that offers nothing more than an hour and a half of mindless entertainment. Liebman is a slick salesman who travels across the country selling vacuum cleaners. He seems harmless enough, but that's all part of his shtick. He's really a confidence man who is being
blackmailed by Austin, a detective for the vacuum-cleaner company. Along the way, Price meets Howard and teaches him the tricks of the swindling game. They try every trick in the book, hoodwinking car dealers and a defenseless widow before finally coming out on top of this mess. What little
romance the film offers comes in the form of the pleasant Kaczmarek as the widow's lissome niece.
