Hired to locate a missing girl, a soldier of fortune enlists the aid of jungle expert Mel Ferrer in analyzing the only clue to her whereabouts, a reel of foliage-filled super-8mm film. The trail leads to New Guinea, where the adventurer finds the girl, but only after all are menaced by cannibals and a cult headed by religious maniac Ivan Rassimov, who has his followers commit mass Jonestown-style suicide following their escape. The film has enough flowing plasma to fill a bloodbank to capacity, along with plenty of gore effects and some actual on-screen animal slaughter. leave a comment
