Hackneyed plot has MacMurray playing an adman trying to get his old girl friend to buy some advertising space for her company. He keeps her identity a secret so that wife Carroll won't get jealous. But Carroll knows something is going on and thinks her mate is having an affair. She hires a man to flirt with her in order to turn the tables on her husband. All is resolved in the end, of course.
