The kind of independent no-budget feature that deserves to be judged on its intentions rather than its technical shortcomings, DON'T LET YOUR MEAT LOAF still fails because it really doesn't seem to have any intentions other than to get a bunch of people into a movie.

Wei (Leander Sales), Tony (Dana S. Hubbard), and Johnny (Brad Albright) are Brooklyn homeys who perform at open mike night at the local comedy club. Their dream is to open a club of their own, to be owned and operated by comedians. But with no money or investors, their future looks dim.
