This very funny satire on the Navy's public relations campaign in the Pacific (notable for one gag in which foul-mouthed Mickey Shaughnessy's speech is apparently "censored" by a continually interrupting ship's horn) is an amiable mishmash, involving some nicely done characters in a hodgepodge of plots, subplots, and sub-subplots, all fairly trivial but all quite amusing.
