Woody Allen wrote the play that this gobbler was based upon, and had he been allowed to write the screenplay for DON'T DRINK THE WATER, it surely would have been more successful. Filmed in Miami and Quebec, it's the story of Gleason, a New Jersey caterer, his wife, Parsons, and his daughter, Delaney, passengers on a plane that is a hijacked to the fictional Communist Bloc nation of Vulgaria. At the Vulgarian airport, Gleason takes some pictures and is immediately suspected of being a spy by secret policeman Constantine, who tries to arrest Gleason and family.
