William, a big-time gambler, quits gaming to open an insurance company that will take on anything. Among the policies issued is one for Kentucky Colonel Kibbee against his actress daughter (Dodd) ceasing to become his source of support by getting married. When she starts seeing Flynn
(almost invisible in his second American film), William becomes concerned, plotting to step in as her suitor himself. Predictably, he falls in love with her, and they are married, though he still has to pay Kibbee a $50,000 settlement on the policy. Obscure comedy remembered today only for the
presence of Flynn, whose next film would be CAPTAIN BLOOD.
