An odd amalgam, redolent of the mistaken-identity comedies of confusion of the 1930s. Martinelli plays a humble secretary in a well-to-do household who is mistaken for the ultimate legatee of that wealth by a visiting attorney. She thinks it's true love and becomes miffed when the truth comes out. No matter, romance finds a foothold within the intrigue, so love triumphs after all. Onetime model Martinelli was "discovered" by Kirk Douglas, who cast her in THE INDIAN FIGHTER (1955).
