The first of Calhoun's independent productions is an above-average B western, starring him in the title role. A good revenge story, the film has Calhoun tracking down and killing the five outlaws who killed his father and stole his cattle while he was away fighting for the Confederacy
during the Civil War. During the process of Calhoun's tracking and killing, he has a romance with Miller and a conflict with Duggan, a moneylender who is trying to steal away his ranch.
