Donaldson is a young boy whose constant lying gets his father, the town mayor, into big trouble. But all is righted in the end, thanks to canine star Flame. Overly cute, with mediocre production values, this is a minor and forgettable "boy and his dog" film. Donaldson is completely inept. Don't miss a bit part by Hickman, who would become famous as TV's "Dobie Gillis". leave a comment
